HealthSense uses a small sample of your hair to assess a wide range of items. This is possible because hair shafts are hollow and act as storage vessels for substances carried through the bloodstream—such as antibodies, nutrients, hormones, heavy metals, and more. As these substances circulate in the body, they are deposited from the blood stream into the hair shaft, allowing them to be detected and analysed without the use of invasive testing methods such as blood testing.
